Cartago modules are CSdesigner for templates development, CSengine for document formating and CSoutputcenter for print dataflow génération . Cartago solution is based on W3C standards.
CSdesigner
Cartago designer is a wysivyg tool based on Java to design document composition templates ; it can import MS Word documents to be used as design templates.
CSengine
CSengine formats the documents based on the rules and templates designed using CSdesigner ; the XML data in input are used to produce XSL:FO data flow in output.
CSoutputcenter
CSoutputcenter takes the XSL :FO in input and generate the necessary output format based on the delivery channel (print, email, archive, web publisching..) : PDF, PCL, PS, AFP…..
