One of the deployment methods of SAP S/4HANA for years is the On-Premise version, that is, on the company site (Datacenter) or in a Private Cloud of the customer.
The SAP S/4HANA On Premise edition is a platform to deploy internally, installed on the client’s servers, maintained by the client’s organization.
With S/4HANA On-Premise, your team must plan, test and control all system updates that take place each year but maintains full control of the entire IT environment up to the SAP application. All changes will be under the control of the customer organization, this being very suitable for certified or validated environments in certain market segments, or subject to government limitations in terms of data rental.
